FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas softball team played to a 9-2 fall exhibition schedule win over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Sunday at Bogle Park. Ciara Clampitt threw six innings for the win, allowing two runs, only one of which was earned, and three hits. Clampitt recorded nine strikeouts in the win. Chelsea Cohen closed the game in the circle, walking one, allowing one hit and striking out two. Offensively, Devon Wallace went 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI, a single, double and reached base after being hit by a pitch. Amanda Geile was 2-for-4 with a walk, a single, double and two RBI. Shortstop Clarisa Navarro was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles. As a team, the Razorbacks banged out nine hits and were patient at the plate with nine walks and two hit batters. The Razorbacks got on the board in the first inning plating five runs. They added three in the third and a final run in the fourth frame. Arkansas hosts Butler Community College Wednesday in the final game of the fall. Action begins at 3 p.m. and is free for the public.
