FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas head football coach Bobby Petrino will throw out the ceremonial first pitch of the Razorback baseball game on Friday, April 15. Arkansas hosts Mississippi State at Baum Stadium with game time set for 7 p.m. on FSN and SportSouth.
Tickets for all three games of the Arkansas-Mississippi State baseball series remain and may be purchased online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com or by calling 1-800-982-HOGS (4647). Game time for Saturday’s game is 6:35 p.m. while Sunday’s series finale is set for a 1:05 p.m. start.
Coach Petrino and the football Razorbacks are preparing for Saturday’s Red-White Spring Game inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorbacks Stadium. The game is set to begin at 3 p.m. and will be televised nationally for the first time on ESPN. Admission to the Red-White Game is free of charge.
Coach Petrino is entering his fourth season as the Arkansas head coach. He guided the Razorbacks to a 10-3 record in 2010 and an appearance in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, marking the first Bowl Championship Series game in school history. Coach Petrino is one of three head coaches to take two different teams to a BCS game and the first to guide two schools to their first BCS appearance.
