Ian O’Rourke joined the swimming and diving program for the Fall 2018 semester as a graduate assistant. O’Rourke will work with the program’s divers.
Prior to joining the Razorbacks, O’Rourke spent four years as the head coach of the Boiler Diving Academy in West Lafayette, Ind. While with the Boiler Diving Academy, he also served as the Assistant Senior & Junior National Dive Coach for the Ripfest Elite Squad & Dive Camp in Arcadia, Ind.
O’Rourke was the Head Dive Coach at Carmel High School in Carmel, Ind. prior to his stint on the club circuit. He has also coached at the collegiate level, serving as the Head Dive Coach at Cansius College after a one-year tenure as assistant coach at his alma mater Niagra University.
A 2011 graduate, he earned his bachelor’s degree in International Studies before pursuing a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2012 at Niagra.
