Continuing To Rise To New Heights

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In 2012, Arkansas Soccer was going through a major transition. After just nine combined wins over the previous two seasons, Colby Hale was brought in as the eighth head soccer coach in the team’s history and it was his first head coaching job of his career.

Hale was looking to rejuvenate a program that had never been to the NCAA Tournament and had recorded just six 10-win seasons dating back to 1986.

Fast forward five years later, and the Razorback Soccer program is a perennial Top-25 team, has reached three NCAA Tournaments, including one Sweet 16, and continually ranks among the top in the SEC in attendance.

What’s the secret? Check out what Hale and seniors Jessi Hartzler and Katie Kienstra had to say.
