Csobanki Competes in the Olympics

: FAYETTEVILLE- Zsuzsa Csobanki, University of Arkansas senior swimmer, competes Friday in the 2004 Olympic Games for the Hungarian team. : Csobanki participates in the qualifying heats of the 50-freestyle starting at 2:00 a.m. Central. : Lady Razorback head coach Anne Goodman James said she was eager to watch Csobanki compete in the Olympics. : “It’s thrilling as a coach to see someone who has worked as hard as her to reap the benefits,” Goodman James said. “She feels very strong right now and is excited to have the opportunity to race in such a great atmosphere.” : At the Hungarian Nationals in Budapest, Csobanki won the 50-free with a time of 26.47. Her time met the criteria for an Olympic ‘B’ cut and other standards needed to make the games. : As a Lady’Back, Csobanki specializes in the freestyle and butterfly.
