D.J. Williams shares story with ESPN.com

FAYETTEVILLE — University of Arkansas tight end D.J. Williams recently spoke to Chris Low of ESPN.com.

Williams, who is a junior from Little Rock, Ark., is considered one of the best at his position in the country.

In 2008, he led the team in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns on his way to becoming a semifinalist for the Mackey Award.

His off the field story of overcoming adversity received national attention Thursday as it is the focus of Low’s piece on the main college football page of ESPN’s web site.
