Davis selected as honorary captain

FAYETTEVILLE -The University of Arkansas is proud to announce former Razorback Isaac Davis as the A Club honorary captain for the LSU-Arkansas football game.

The 12th-ranked Razorbacks wrap up their regular season Saturday on CBS against the sixth-ranked Tigers at 2:30 p.m. inside War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

The University of Arkansas Athletic Department and the Razorback Foundation A Club is presenting an honorary captain for each home game this season. Each honorary captain will be honored prior to the game on the field and accompany the Razorback captains to midfield for the coin toss.

Davis played offensive guard for the Razorbacks from 1990-93. He earned All-SEC honors in 1993 and was named to Arkansas’ All-Decade team for the 1990s.

Davis helped lead the Hogs to 18 victories during his career, highlighted by a 25-24 win at No. 4 Tennessee in 1992 and defeats of LSU in his final two seasons. Davis was selected in the second round of the 1994 NFL draft by San Diego. He played five seasons in the NFL for San Diego, New Orleans and Minnesota.
