NORMAN, Okla. – Sophomore Devon Wallace was selected to the second team on the NFCA South All-Region team. The teams were announced Thursday.
Wallace was selected to the second team after being named a first team performer last season. She leads the NCAA with a .635 on base percentage and 75 walks. Earlier this season she set the SEC single-season record in walks. The Double Oak, Texas native is on pace to break UA single-season records in walks (75), batting average (.377), on base percentage (.635) and slugging percentage (.772).
The sophomore set the Arkansas career walks record earlier this season and now has 128 in her 109 game career. She also leads the team with 12 homeruns, 53 runs scored and 88 total bases.

Wallace and her teammates will travel to Norman, Okla. for the NCAA Regional this weekend. The team’s first game will be against Fordham on Friday at 5 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.com.
