Diamond Hogs to Hold Scrimmage Friday Night

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas baseball team will hold its first major-public scrimmage of the fall practice schedule at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Baum Stadium.

The nine- or 10-inning scrimmage, which is open to the public, will feature two evenly divided teams to give the Razorback fans their first look at the 2008 Diamond Hogs.

The Hogs return six starting position players along with pitchers Shaun Seibert, Dallas Keuchel, Travis Hill, Stephen Richards and Evan Cox.

It will also be your first chance to get a sneak peak at Head Coach Dave Van Horn’s newcomers. The 20-man incoming class includes seven players that have turned down professional contracts to play for the Razorbacks.
