FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Men’s Athletic Department has teamed up with the UA Associated Student Government to host what very well could be the state’s largest Arkansas-Texas football watch party at Donald W. Reynolds Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 13.
The game will be shown on the 30 X 107 foot SACO SMARTVISION video board atop the Broyles Center. The SMARTVISION LED video screen is the largest video board at a sports venue in the world.
“We wanted to find a way to get everyone involved even if they couldn’t make it to Austin,” Arkansas Athletic Director Frank Broyles. “It’s a great opportunity to watch the game on the largest television screen around. It will be a great time and we will be collecting food for the Salvation Army.”
Seating will be in the south end zone and fans should enter through gates 1, 15 and 16 located in the south of the stadium. UA students will be admitted free with a student ID while non-students may gain admission by bringing a can of non-perishable food. The food collected as part of the event will be donated to the Salvation Army.
The food court, concession stands and the Hog Heaven store will be open offering fans all the luxuries of a normal Razorback home game.
Gates will open at 10 a.m. with game kickoff set for 11 a.m. CT.
