Eighth Place In Puerto Rico
Results
RIO DEL MAR, Puerto Rico – The first spring tournament is in the books and the University of Arkansas women’s golf team finished eighth at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on the River Course in Rio Del Mar, Puerto Rico on Tuesday.
Sophomore Kaylee Benton paced the Razorbacks and finished tied for 18th overall shooting a 5-over 221 on the par 72, 6,164-yard course. Junior Alana Uriell finished tied for 20th with 222, followed by sophomore Maria Fassi who tied for 38th overall with 226. Junior Jordy LaBarbera carded a 231 and tied for 55th and sophomore Cara Gorlei rounded out the Razorback scores with a 234 and a tie for 66th overall.
Senior Summar Roachell competed as an individual and finished tied for 43rd with a 227 over the three-round event.
