TOLEDO, Ohio — Andrew Landry did the improbable.

With the University of Arkansas men’s golf team tied at 2-2 with Texas A&M for the 2009 NCAA Championship, Landry rallied from four down to even in his match play dual with the Aggies’ Burgoon.

Getting excellent position of the tee box at 18, Landry brought the Razorbacks to the cusp of its first-ever men’s golf team national title.

Unfortunately, he could not do the impossible, which was hit a 45-foot putt to continue the match into additional holes, allowing TAMU to escape with a title that earlier in the morning appeared to be a certainty for the Aggies.

ArkansasRazorbacks.com was here in Toledo, with video coverage and live Twitter feeds. The first photos and the initial reaction of Coach Brad McMakin and the Razorbacks is already here on-line.

Later in the day, as the @ArkRazorbacks and RazorVision crews land in Norman, Okla., from Toledo for tonight’s NCAA baseball regional game between the Razorbacks and host Oklahoma Sooners, additional story coverage will be posted here.
