ESPN is high on the Hogs

FAYETTEVILLE — Bo Bingham added another SportsCenter highlight for the week as the University of Arkansas baseball team captures the national spotlight from College World Series network ESPN.

The freshman Bigham’s diving stop and throw from his knees cracked ESPN SportsCenter’s top 10 plays, ranking No. 4 on the list Saturday night. Bingham’s top 10 appearance should appear on the ESPN SportsCenter web site Sunday night as the network posts its highlights two days after they air.

Arkansas defeated the CWS second seed, Cal State Fullerton, on ESPN Saturday night, advancing the Razorback baseball team to a prime-time slot on Monday at 6 p.m. against LSU.

The Bingham highlight was the second top 10 highlight of the week, and the third guest shot by the Hogs. On the day before the Arkansas win, Howie Schwab sported Razorback gear on the set in Bristol.
