DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – University of Arkansas women’s golf coach Shauna Estes-Taylor travels to Daytona Beach, Fla., this week helping a pair of former Razorbacks at this week’s LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament.
Known as "Q-school", the four-day tournament takes place at LPGA International and is the final qualifying event for the 2011 season. The first round begins Wednesday at 10 a.m. central.
Estes-Taylor will be on the bag for former Razorback Lucy Nunn. Nunn has spent a couple of seasons on the DURAMED Futures Tour and is trying to earn her LPGA Tour Card.
Nunn won one of the two sectional qualifiers in Florida last September.
Former Razorback Kristin Ingram, who graduated last season, is also taking part.
The tournament is a five-round qualifier with a tournament cut to the low 70 players after 72 holes.
