COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Arkansas’ soccer team continues its road trip in Colorado with Sunday’s 1 p.m. game at Colorado College.
The Razorbacks faced Air Force on Friday and improved to 2-4 with a 2-1 victory. Kailey Anders scored both goals for Arkansas and leads the club with three.
Colorado College is 1-4-2 following a 1-1 tie at home against Fresno State on Friday.
The Tigers, who are members of Conference USA, lead the all-time series 4-2, including a 4-0 edge in Colorado Springs while Arkansas leads 2-0 in Fayetteville. The teams have not met since a 4-0 CC victory in 2000.
Sunday’s game is the second of the season for Arkansas against a member of Conference USA. The Razorbacks opened the season with a 2-1 home win over Southern Methodist.
Sunday’s game is also the final non-conference contest of the year. The Razorbacks are in Fayetteville next week, playing host to Ole Miss on Friday and Mississippi State on Sunday in a pair of Southeastern Conference matchups. The Ole Miss game is also being televised by Cox Sports Television.
