VIEW FLYOVER VIDEO

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Razorback fans can now get a virtual tour of the soon to be completed Basketball Performance Center, the future home of the University of Arkansas’ men’s and women’s basketball programs. A new fly-through video features a 360-degree view of the facility which is scheduled for completion this summer.

The video provides views of the building from several exterior angles and then transports fans inside the facility for interior looks at the practice courts, team locker and film rooms, the athletic training center and the weight room.

When the 66,000 square foot facility is completed this summer, the University of Arkansas will transition from the only Southeastern Conference institution without a practice facility to the home of finest basketball training venue both within the SEC and throughout the nation. The yet to be named Basketball Performance Center will serve all operational components of the men’s and women’s programs, including: two full-court gymnasiums, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a weight room, an athletic training room, coaches’ offices, team meeting rooms, student-athlete lounge and study areas and an equipment room.

The Basketball Performance Center is being constructed along Leroy Pond Road across the street from the south side of Bud Walton Arena between Bogle Park and The Gardens.

The Basketball Performance Center is one of three facilities projects identified as part of the Never Yield campaign, named after the signature line of the University of Arkansas’ fight song. Never Yield also serves as a program-wide phrase to help raise the national profile of Razorback Athletics.

In addition to the Basketball Performance Center, the Never Yield Fundraising campaign has provided support for the Fowler Family Baseball and Track Indoor Training Center completed last July, as well as the Jerry and Gene Jones Family Student-Athlete Success Center which is under construction and slated to also open later this summer.
