New Food Items in 2015

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.As the No. 18 Razorback football team prepares to open the highly-anticipated 2015 season on Saturday against UTEP, Razorback Athletics announced price reductions on many of the most-popular concession items at Donald W. Reynolds Razorbacks Stadium.

“This is a great example of how feedback we receive from our fans can help lead to significant improvements for all those attending our events,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. “Specifically, information provided from our fans as part of our Fan survey program give us a baseline and candid feedback on how we can make a trip to watch Razorback Football more enjoyable. We’re excited about many of the game day improvements we have been able to implement this season. We are appreciative of those who support our teams and value what they have to say about their game day experience.”

In addition to lower prices, fans will have the opportunity to pay with credit cards throughout the Food Court on ground level in the south end zone and in all Club seating areas.

“This investment is about making gameday more efficient for our fans as the research shows that credit cards are now faster than paying with cash,” Senior Associate AD Chris Freet said. “Our hope is that we see a measurable decrease in lines at concession stands and give fans more time in their seats, enjoying the Razorback game.”

In fan surveys conducted last season, beverage prices and food prices both ranked among the top concerns of Razorback fans. Based on similar feedback in other sports, Arkansas reduced prices on concessions in both baseball and softball during the 2015 seasons.

The UTEP game is set for a 2:30 p.m. start at Razorback Stadium and will be televised live on ESPNU. Single-game tickets are still available. Fans can purchase tickets HERE or by calling 1-800-982-HOGS.
