Football kickoff time set for UGA

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas 2010 Southeastern Conference football opener against Georgia on Sept. 18 will be aired by ESPN or ESPN2 as announced by the network Thursday. The game at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., will kick off at 11 a.m. CT. No other arrangements for the Razorbacks’ 2010 football schedule have been announced at this time. The network for the match up will be selected following the conclusion of games on Sept. 11. Arkansas has appeared on ESPN 29 times and on ESPN2 on 20 occasions. This year’s game between Arkansas and Georgia will be the first between the two schools at Sanford Stadium since 2005. CBS has also announced details for its SEC doubleheaders in 2010 and the SEC Championship Game. The network will broadcast doubleheaders on Saturday, Oct. 2 with games airing at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. CT and Saturday, Nov. 13, with games kicking off at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CT. The 2010 SEC Championship game will be broadcast at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 4, from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
