Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010When the Arkansas football team has reached its opponent’s 20-yard line, scoring is nearly inevitable.The Razorbacks are 25-of-27 in the Critical Zone (inside the 20-yard line) so far this season, which leads the Southeastern Conference and is tied for fifth in the NCAA. UA’s 74.1 touchdown percentage in the Critical Zone also leads the SEC. Under Coach Petrino, Arkansas has been flawless in the Critical Zone in 22 of 33 games.
Safety FirstOnly five footballteams in the FBS have recorded two safeties this season; one of which being the Razorbacks. Arkansashas notched two safeties in 2010, with UA’s coming against Tennessee Tech and Vanderbilt.
