Football Tailgating Reminders

FAYETTEVILLE – The 21st-ranked Arkansas football team returns to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium this Saturday when Ole Miss comes to town. As part of the experience, the University of Arkansas reminds fans of tailgating policies in place for each Fayetteville game.

Setting up tents, awnings, and similar equipment for tailgates may commence at 5 p.m. on Friday. The items must be taken down and removed by 12 noon on Sunday. If a tent is placed before 5 p.m. on Friday, it will be removed and can be picked up from lost and found through Facilities Management, which can be contacted at 575-5050.

Tailgating at the University of Arkansas is a cherished part of the Razorback game day tradition. In order to provide a great game-day experience for all those who choose to tailgate, we remind you to please follow the tailgate policies outlined in the 2010 Arkansas Football Fan Guide which can be found on the athletics department’s website at www.ArkansasRazorbacks.com.Select the Fan button and then Fan Guides. Your cooperation and consideration of all tailgating policies will be especially helpful as it pertains to one parking space/one car, no tents permitted in a parking space and adherence to the policies about the installation and size of tents.

These tailgate policy reminders should not be confused with the University’s campout policies for students around University-sponsored events. Those are separate policies from the aforementioned tailgate policies for fans.
