Football team visits Boys and Girls Club

FAYETTEVILLE – Members of the University of Arkansas football team put their day off in the final week of spring practice to good use, visiting the Donald W. Reynolds Boys and Girls Club on Thursday.

More than 50 Razorback football players were on hand to greet an excited group of more than 150 young Razorback fans. Between games of basketball and a round of dodgeball dominated by the youngsters, fun was had by all.

The Razorbacks take to the practice field Friday for a final workout session before Saturday’s Red-White Spring Game. General admission to the spring game is free.

The Red-White Spring Game is part of the Woo Pig Spring Weekend. For $35, fans can purchase the Woo Pig Spring Weekend package that includes a reserved ticket to all three baseball games ($30 value), general admission seating for all three softball games ($12 value) and exclusive access to the South Outdoor Club seating area for the spring football game.

The annual spring game will be televised nationally for the first time by ESPN at 3 p.m. The game will re-air April 17 on ESPNU at 5 p.m.
