Former Razorback Moves On

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Former University of Arkansas All-American Emily Tubert moves on to the third stage of qualifying for the LPGA’s Qualifying School in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Tubert earned an exemption to the final stage was one of the top 15 players on the Symetra Tour who are outside the final 10 and not already an LPGA Tour member. The final stage takes place at LPGA International Nov. 30-Dec. 4. The format is 90 holes of stroke play with the field cut after 72 holes to the low 70 players and ties. The final round takes place on the Hills Course.

Other Razorback notables at the LPGA’s Q School include current tour members Stacy Lewis and Gabriela Lopez. Lewis won the final stage to earn her Tour card in 1998 while Lopez earned her Tour card in December of 2015, leaving school early her senior season.
