Golf Hogs Sit in Fourth Place after First Day

    VICTORIA, Texas – Arkansas men’s golf team is on their best start of the season at the Udamon Southwest Classic finishing fourth in the 22-team field Monday afternoon.
    Junior Craig Lile is in a tie for sixth place after the first two rounds. Lile shot a one-under par, 143.
    Freshman Beau Galyean fired a four-over par, 149, which places in him a tie for 24th. Ed McSpadden and Drew Higginbotham are in a tie for 44th with scores of eight over par, 152.
Jay Houk shot an 81 in the first round and rebounded in the second round with a two-over par, 74.
    The second day of competition will be Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.
