Gomez Named to SEC Academic Honor Roll
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – For the second straight year, Arkansas’ Dionisio Gomez has been named to the Southeastern Conference’s basketball Academic Honor Roll.

To make the list, players must have a 3.0 grade point average or above for either the past year or a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA for their career; be a sophomore or higher in terms of academic classification; and have at least 24 semester hours towards a degree.

Gomez, a junior majoring in computer information systems, has played in 26 games this season with 12 starts. The Panama City, Panama, native is averaging 3.9 points and 3.4 rebounds a game. He’s had season highs of 10 points five times, eight rebounds twice, four assists, four blocked shots and three steals.
