FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – With the sounds of “Dixie” in the background, the Arkansas Razorbacks began preparation for SEC West foe the Ole Miss Rebels. Head coach Houston Nutt and his staff felt that Tuesday’s practice went very well.
“We had a good day today,” Nutt said. “We had guys moving around and tried to hit on all the formations that Ole Miss presents with Eli Manning and the receivers and their different types of plays. They have some good receivers and a good running game. You have to prepare for both.
Offensively we tried to hit hard on things that we’re doing – mixing play action passing along with the kicking game.”
Nutt and the Razorbacks will continue prepping for the Rebels through Thursday. Kickoff for Saturday’s homecoming game will be at 1 pm at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
