Greats to sign autographs Wednesday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Along with the Arkansas men’s basketball game against Baylor at Verizon Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 30, a trio of Razorback legends will be signing autographs on the concourse prior to the 8 p.m. tip. Scotty Thurman, Corliss Williamson and U.S. Reed are scheduled to be at Verizon Arena between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to sign autographs for fans.

Thurman and Williamson were members of Arkansas’ 1994 NCAA National Championship and 1995 NCAA National Runner-up Teams and during their three seasons in Fayetteville accounted for a record of 85-19. Both went on to solid professional careers in basketball following their time in Fayetteville.

Reed, a Pine Bluff, Ark., native, lettered at Arkansas between 1978-81 and was a freshman on the Razorbacks’ 1978 NCAA Final Four team. He led Arkansas to three Southwest Conference Championships a Southwest Conference Tournament Championship and four NCAA Tournament appearances.
