FAYETTEVILLE – The 2006 NCAA South Central Regional Gymnastics Championship hosted by the University of Arkansas is available on-line Saturday, April 8. Arkansas is in the midst of their fourth season of gymnastics and is making the program’s third regional appearance. It is the first time the Gym’Backs have hosted a post-season event. The meet will air live on LADYBACKS.COM and is free to the public. The on-line broadcast will be similar to Arkansas’ regular season broadcasts primarily featuring the Gym’Backs. Scores for the entire six-team meet will also be shown on-line during the rotation breaks and other teams will air on-line as time permits. “We are very excited to be able to bring this meet to our fans that are unable to attend Saturday’s meet,” said co-head coach Rene Cook. “This meet will showcase gymnastics at the highest level and it’s a great event for fans all over the country.” The meet and the broadcast begin at 6:00 p.m., Central. The feed can be accessed by pointing your web browser to LADYBACKS.COM and clicking on the link on the front page. Live stats for the event are also available on the website under the “live” button at the top of the page. Tickets for Saturday’s meet are still available by calling the Lady Razorback Ticket Office at 57-LBACK.
