Hanna halts play

CAMBRIDGE, Md. — The 2008-09 University of Arkansas men’s golf season opener has been put on hold thanks to Hurricane Hanna Saturday.

Arkansas was scheduled to play today at the Maryland Collegiate Invitational at River Marsh Golf Course in Cambridge, Md., but tournament officials pulled the plug early Saturday morning. Teams are scheduled to play 36 holes Sunday to complete the tournament.
