FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Senior Dusty Hannahs and freshman C.J. Jones will join Mike Anderson on Mike’d Up this Tuesday at 7 p.m., the weekly radio show dedicated to Arkansas basketball at Sassy’s Red House in Fayetteville.
Mike’d Up can be heard across the Razorback Sports Network from IMG College throughout the state. All but two of the 12 shows are held on Mondays with Tuesday, Nov. 15 and Tuesday, Nov. 29 serving as the lone exceptions due to the game schedule.
The one-hour program gives fans an opportunity to interact with Razorback coaches and players, while also getting a chance to learn more about the personalities they witness on the court. Hosted by the voice of the Razorbacks, Chuck Barrett, the program features interviews with Coach Anderson and Arkansas student-athletes, coaches and staff members. Fans in attendance will also have an opportunity to ask the head Razorback their own questions. Fans can also send in questions to Coach Anderson on the day of each show via Twitter to @RazorbackMBB and by using the hashtag #MikedUp.
After scoring 23 points on 7-of-17 shooting in the season opener against Summit League preseason favorite Fort Wayne, Dusty Hannahs eclipsed 1,000 career points for his career, scoring 462 points at Texas Tech and now 552 at Arkansas to bring his total to 1,014. In his last two games, he has scored 56 points after his 33-point effort in last year’s SEC Tournament game.
Freshman guard C.J. Jones sat out the season opener due to an injury, but is likely to get his first action as a Razorback tonight against Southern Illinois.
Following Monday night’s game against SIU, Arkansas will host Sun Belt favorite UT Arlington on Friday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. The Razorbacks will then hit the road and travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
