Happy Holidays from the Hog Hoopsters

My family always kicks off Christmas by watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” to get into the Christmas spirit. On Christmas Eve, we open presents with my mom’s side of the family. Once we finish that, my brother and I make cookies and decorate them. Then, right before bed, we still write letters to Santa and put out cookies, milk and an apple for the reindeer.

On Christmas day, we always get up really early because my brother can’t wait to open presents. We start off with our stockings and then open the presents. Once we have finished opening at our house, we go to my dad’s family’s house for lunch and more presents.

This year, Christmas is even more special to me because I have been blessed with a four-month-old sister to share it with. Just when I thought we might be getting too old and the Christmas spirit might slip away, we get to start all over for Taylor!
