Happy Holidays from the Hog Hoopsters

Christmas is a special time of the year for me and my family. It is a time for us to focus and teach our kids the Reason for the Season-Jesus’ Birthday! It is also fun to see Ross & Reese getting excited about Christmas-whether it is counting down the days, making their lists, or singing Christmas songs (we’ve been playing them since September!). And there is nothing like seeing their faces on Christmas morning when Santa has visited- Priceless! We also go to my parents’ house each Christmas where we celebrate with my entire family and carry out many of the same traditions we had when I was a kid. We gather on Christmas Eve at my sister’s house for food and fellowship and sometimes there is a Santa sighting! On Christmas morning we are at my Mom and Dad’s house and we have breakfast, presents, and stockings and then later that day a big Christmas dinner. I love the fact that we express our love by the gift of giving during this time of the year. Jason and I got a very precious gift almost 4 years on Dec 26, our daughter Reese. Christmas makes me think of that time and how special it was to have our whole family here for her birth. Merry Christmas to all!
