Hatcher Headed To Oakland

ALAMEDA, Calif. — The Oakland Raiders announced the signing of former Arkansas wide receiver Keon Hatcher as an undrafted free agent Friday.

Hatcher played in 47 games with 28 starts and closed his career ranked fourth on Arkansas’ career touchdown receptions list (19), 13th in receptions (130) and 11th in receiving yards (1,866). He totaled four 100-yard receiving games, had a receiving TD in 16 career games, including three multi-TD catch games and finished with a streak of 31 consecutive games with a reception dating back to 2013. In addition, 89 of his receptions converted first downs.

The Pro Football Focus All-SEC second team selection played in 12 games with eight starts in 2016 and was the Razorbacks’ leading receiver with 743 yards. Hatcher also led the team and tied for fifth in the SEC in TD receptions (8). Out of his 44 receptions, 35 resulted in either a first down or TD for a 79.5% conversion rate.

Hatcher was off to a solid start in 2015 before suffering a season-ending foot injury in the second game of the season. Through the first two weeks, he led the SEC with 198 receiving yards and was tied for second with 13 receptions.

During his junior campaign in 2014, Hatcher emerged as the team’s top receiver, recording 43 receptions for a team-leading 558 yards and six touchdowns, while starting 12 of 13 games. Hatcher earned a part-time starting job as a sophomore in 2013. He started six of 10 games played, totaling 27 receptions for 346 yards and two touchdowns. He played in 10 games as a reserve in his first year in Fayetteville, Arkansas, ending his freshman season with three receptions for 21 yards and one touchdown.
