Hogs Fare Well in Day One of Texas Invite

AUSTIN, Texas- The Arkansas swimming and diving program finished day one at the Texas Diving Invite, with sophomore Brooke Schultz earning a fourth-place finish in the 3-meter.

The Razorbacks had three divers compete in the 3-meter, with all three earning top-35 finishes.

In the preliminary round, Caroline Welch finished 34th with a 201.35 while freshman Estilla Mosena finished 24th with a 246.10. Schultz earned a seventh-place finish with a score of 306.4 and finished fourth in the finals with a score of 347.80, narrowly missing third by .05.

The divers competed against some of the best programs in the country, including No. 1 Texas and No. 9 Tennessee.

Tomorrow’s competition will consist of 1-meter diving, with Schultz, Welch, and Mosena competing.
