FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s golf team hits the course for the second straight week on Monday when the Razorbacks open play at the Mountaineer Intercollegiate in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Arkansas will play in its fourth event of the fall, as the 54-hole event will be played at Pete Dye Golf Club, a par 72, 7,353-yard layout. The Razorbacks will play 36 continuous holes on Monday, Oct. 10, before coming back for the final round on Tuesday, Oct. 11. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com or via the Golfstat Live app.

The field features 13 teams, with Arkansas and Mississippi State representing the Southeastern Conference and joining the host Mountaineers from West Virginia.

The inaugural event last season was cut to 36 holes due to inclement weather with Penn State capturing the title with a two-round score of 294-291 – 585 (+5).

The Razorbacks will travel the same five players for the second straight week as Alvaro Ortiz sits atop the lineup and has top-20 finishes in all three fall events. He leads the team with a 70.7 stroke average and has a counting score in all nine rounds on the year.

Luis Garza (71.7) and Mason Overstreet (72.6) posted top-20 finishes last week and will tee off second and third respectively in the lineup, while Dylan Naidoo (72.6) and Charles Kim (74.3) round out the squad.
