FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team hits the road for the final time in the regular season this weekend, as the Razorbacks take on the No. 7 Mississippi State Bulldogs Friday and the Auburn Tigers Sunday.

Arkansas will begin the weekend with a 3 p.m. serve in Starkville, Mississippi, against the Bulldogs on Friday. The Razorbacks are looking for their first win over Mississippi State in 10 years, when Arkansas defeated the Bulldogs 4-3 in 2008.

The Razorbacks will then travel to further east to Auburn, Alabama, to take on the Tigers at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Arkansas has won each of the last two meetings against Auburn, defeating the Tigers 7-0 in 2016 and 4-1 last season.

Last time out, Arkansas swept a tripleheader with a win over the Alabama Crimson Tide and two wins over the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks. With three regular-season matches left, the Razorbacks enter the weekend with a 12-11 overall record and a 3-6 mark in SEC play.

The Razorbacks are led by senior Jose Salazar, who holds a 20-10 overall record and a 14-6 mark in dual matches this spring. Against ranked competition, he is a team-best 6-4 this season, winning four of the last five. Freshman Alex Reco holds the second-most spring wins on the team with an 11-7 mark, while freshman Josh Howard-Tripp follows with a 10-10 record.
