Hogs Off to Rocky Start in Arizona

    TUCSON, Ariz.  – Arkansas posted a 28-over par team score in the first day of the Ping/Arizona Intercollegiate Monday afternoon holding on to 20th place in one of the hardest tournaments in the country.
    Junior Craig Lile leads the way for the Hogs by shooting a 1-over par, 72 to tie for 22nd. Lile was one under on the back nine shooting a score of 35.
Jay Houk, of Rogers, shot a 4-over par, 75 in his first tournament of the young spring season. Houk is currently tied for 59th.
    Freshman Beau Galyean is in a tie at 91st with a score of 79. Drew Higginbotham and Ryan Blagg finished the first day of the tournament with scores of 86 and 96 respectively.
    The Hogs will continue play Tuesday in Tucson with the second and final day of the tournament.
