FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s tennis team is playing in the Rolex Regional this weekend in Ft. Worth, Texas.
This is the final tournament of the fall for the Hogs and it will host the best players from Texas and Arkansas.
“This Rolex Regional consist of every Division I school in Texas and Arkansas,” head coach Robert Cox said. “There will be about 20 schools and an 128 player draw. It is a major tournament on the ITA rankings.”
Oskar Johansson, Henrik Tofft, Magnus Kullenberg, John Deaton, Chris Campbell, Tiago Azevedo, Eduardo Pacheco, and Aleksey Bubis are the Hogs participating in the tournament.
“This is the last tournament of our fall,” Cox said. “We have had a better than average fall with three players making nice steps forward on a national scene, Oskar, Henrik and Magnus. I am very pleased with us so far.”
The Rolex Regional will begin Thursday and continue till Sunday, with singles and doubles competition.
