Hogs Ready for Saturday Showdown with Tigers o

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Houston Nutt and the Arkansas Razorbacks put the finishing touches on their game plan with a Thursday practice. The weather was good to the Hogs who practiced on the outdoor fields behind Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
“We had good concentration today, once we got going,” Nutt said. “We got to start out outside and we missed the weather, either way we’re okay. They worked hard on kicking today. Their kicking game is a factor, so we tried to cover out bases there. Then we finished with a two minute drill today.”
Nutt showed respect to Auburn’s punter, Damon Duvall, citing him as a weapon.
“You know he’s a weapon and they’re going to use him,” Nutt said. “They have a lot of confidence in him as he is one of the best in the conference if not the best. You always try to play field position and keep it to your advantage.”
According to Nutt, Mark Bokermann, Bo Lacy and Cedric Cobbs were feeling better today and could go on Saturday.
“They got better today and were moving better,” Nutt said. “You never know what can happen in 48 hours. Talley looks good, he’s healthy and ready to go. De’Arrius Howard and Brandon Holmes will combine with Talley to get the bulk of the work unless something changes with Cedric.”
The Razorbacks kickoff against the Auburn Tigers at 11:30 on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala. The game will be televised by Jefferson-Pilot Sports.
