Hogs Return to Practice with Auburn in Sight
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – An overcast and dreary day set the stage for the Hogs’ Tuesday practice. Houston Nutt was pleased with his tired but focused team.

“Our guys came back and gave us a great effort today with a great attitude,” Nutt said. “That’s what you look for. When you get knocked back down you have to get back up and go to work. When you hit an obstacle and things don’t go right for you, you have to come back out here and go to work. These guys came back out and gave us a good day’s work today. That’s what its all about.”

The emotions did play a key part in the Tennessee game, but Nutt is confident that his team can get back to work and get over it.

“We used a lot of emotion, but after Sunday I felt better,” Nutt said. “I felt better than that when some of them came over on Monday, and I feel better today after seeing them out here working and giving a great attitude. That’s what you got to have, and we keep getting that kind of attitude and effort.”

The Hogs travel to Auburn, Ala. on Friday for their Saturday showdown with the No. 24 Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 11:30 a.m. The game will be televised by Jefferson-Pilot Sports.
