Hogs to Play in Lexus Invitational
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s golf team will play in the Lexus Invitational this Saturday and Sunday in Fresno, Calif.

The third tournament of the season for the Hogs will include a different line up than the prior two. The team will consist of three freshmen, two sophomores, and a junior.

Sophomores Stephen Phaup and Ed McSpadden will also play in Fresno. Phaup has played in the two earlier tournaments, with his best finish a tie for 37th at the Big “E.” McSpadden will play in his first tourney as a Razorback. He redshirted the 1998-99 season.

Freshmen Jay Houk, Beau Galyean and Ryan Blagg are also representing the Hogs. This will be the third tournament for Houk and Blagg in 1999. Galyean, of Ardmore, Okla., will make his first tournament start.

The Hogs are returning to tournament play after a four-week break. They placed 12th at the Big “E” Stonebridge Shootout in McKinney, Texas, in their last outing.
