Hogs Fire 293 in Second Round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay

AWENDAW, S.C. The Arkansas men’s golf team turned in a solid round of 9-over-par 293 in the second round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate Golf Tournament on Monday afternoon at the 7,261-yard, par-71 Bulls Bay Golf Club.

The Razorbacks are in 15th place with a two-round total of 32-over-par 600 heading into Tuesday’s final round. Central Florida continues to lead at 10-under 558 with Wake Forest in second at 562 and Florida State and Baylor tied for third at 563.

Freshman Frederico Colombo turned in a solid round of 1-under-par 71 in Monday’s second round. He is tied for 42nd place at 6-over-par 148.

Andrew Landry continues his solid play with an even-par 71 in round two. He is tied for 32nd place with a 3-over-par total of 145 after a 74 in the opening round.

Jason Cuthbertson and Dalton Owens pace the remainder of the Arkansas contingent in a tie for 71st position at 12-over-par 154. Stephen Cox is tied for 73rd place after a tough 78 on Monday puts him at 13-over for the tournament.

The final round is slated to tee off at 8 a.m. (CDT) on Tuesday.
