Hogs Tied for Fifth after 36 Holes of the Wolf Run Intercollegiate

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – The Arkansas golf team is tied for fifth after the first two rounds of the Wolf Run Intercollegiate at the par-71, 7,195 yard Wolf Run Golf Club on Saturday.

Sophomore transfer Andrew Landry, who joined the Hogs from Lamar this season, led the way with a 1-under-par total of 141. He shot a 70 (-1) on the opening 18 holes of the difficult Wolf Run track. Landry followed that up with an even-par 71 in the second round and is tied for third place.

The Razorbacks shot a 12-over-par 296 on the opening 18 holes and then shot 15-over-par 299 in the second round as darkness fell in Zionsville, Ind.

The Hogs’ two-round total of 595 is 14 strokes shy of tournament leader Kentucky, who fired rounds of 292 and 289 to take a three stroke lead over Louisville into Sunday’s final round. Georgia Southern is in third at 591 with Central Florida in fourth place at 594. Arkansas is tied with Xavier.

Sophomore Jason Turner is tied for 21st at 8-over-par 150 with Jason Cuthbertson tied for 25th at 9-over-par 151. Beau Glover is tied for 49th at 159.
