Hogspy Award Winners Announced
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Razorbacks were recognized for their hard work in-and-out of the classroom at the fourth annual Hogspy Awards in the Walton Arts Center Wednesday evening.
The Hogspy Awards honors excellence in Razorback Athletics including performances by 19 sports teams and more than 460 student athletes. The award show was hosted by Dari Nowkhah of ESPN and Golf Channel’s Lisa Cornwell.
Women’s track and field/cross country and men’s basketball took home the top prizes after being named the men’s and women’s teams of the year. That honor was reflected in the selection of men’s basketball head coach Mike Anderson as men’s coach of the year and women’s track and field/cross country head coach Lance Harter as women’s coach of the year.
Leading the women was track and field/cross country who left the Walton Arts Center with wins in five categories. Women’s swimming and diving took home the second-most with three pieces of hardware.
