Hollister Headed To New England

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The New England Patriots announced the signing of former Arkansas wide receiver Cody Hollister as an undrafted free agent Friday.

In two seasons with the Razorbacks, Hollister started 12 of 29 games played. He finished with 27 receptions for 342 yards and a touchdown.

As a senior in 2016, Hollister recorded 10 receptions for 140 yards, while rushing twice for 48 yards and a score. He was named the team’s co-special teams MVP after tallying eight tackles on the punt and kickoff teams. Hollister missed the majority of his junior campaign due to a broken foot. He totaled four catches for 65 yards in five games played. In his first season on The Hill, he started seven of 13 games, hauling in 13 receptions for 137 yards and a score.

Prior to Arkansas, Hollister played one season at Arizona Western Community College after redshirting as a true freshman at Nevada in 2012.

In 2013, Hollister was a first-team all-conference selection after leading Arizona Western with 69 receptions for 934 yards and five touchdowns.

Hollister is one of three Razorbacks to be added to New England’s roster this spring. The organization selected defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. in the fourth round of the NFL Draft and signed linebacker Brooks Ellis as an undrafted free agent.
