FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Two games have been added to Arkansas’ basketball television schedule for the 2003-04 season with the addition of the Illinois and Jacksonville games to the broadcast slate. The Illinois game, in Chicago on Dec. 6, is being picked up by the Arkansas Razorback Sports Network. The Jacksonville University game, Nov. 29 at Alltel Arena in North Little Rock, is being televised by Fox Sports Southwest. The Illinois game is scheduled for an 11:05 a.m. tip while the JU game will start at 1:05 p.m. The Jacksonville contest was originally scheduled to start at 2:05 p.m. In order to get the Illinois game on its broadcast schedule ARSN has dropped the Oral Roberts game on Dec. 3. The Razorbacks now have 18 games scheduled for television this year, including the Nicholls State, Illinois, Southeast Missouri, Louisiana Tech, Oklahoma State, Tulsa and North Texas games on ARSN; the Jacksonville game on Fox Sports Net Southwest; the home LSU game on ESPN; the Georgia and home Mississippi State game on SEC-TV; and the Vanderbilt, home Auburn, road LSU, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida and home Alabama games on Jefferson-Pilot Sports.
