Razorbacks return to actionThe Razorback women’s golf team returns to links next week at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla. The two-day, three-round event is Monday and Tuesday at the River Wilderness Golf Club and is hosted by Michigan State.
The long winterWinter "break" is finally over for the women’s golf team. The Razorbacks’ last competition was Nov. 5-7, at the Pact 10-SEC Challenge where the team finishes 11th overall in the tough field. Arkansas conditioned and worked on drills since returning to campus for classes after the holiday break.
This week’s fieldThis week’s field includes Arkansas, Baylor, Indiana, Iowa State, Kent State, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, TCU and Texas A&M.About the eventThis year’s tournament takes place at the River Wilderness Golf and Country Club in Parrish, Fla. The course was designed by Ted McAnlis on 150 acres and is part o fthe Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System.Up NextThe Razorbacks return to Florida for the SunTrust Gator Invitational hosted by the University of Florida March 6-7, at the University Golf Course. Arkansas also makes trips to LSU, Tucson, Ariz. and Athens, Ga., before the SEC Championship at Auburn, Ala.
