Freshman Emily Tubert blistered the field at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown this week.Tubert posted a school record 63 in teh first round and finished with a school record 205 leading Arkansas to the win.Here is Golfweek.com’s summary.

Solid golf propelled Emily Tubert to her first AJGA victory last summer at the Under Armour/Vicky Hurst Championship in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Tubert posted 71 – 69 en route to a 4-under 140 for the tournament. She gained the lead early into her final round, making birdie on three of her first six holes to climbon top of the leaderboard. Once on top, Tubert never looked back. She handled the first-place pressure like a pro, hitting eight greens on the back nine.
