ITA All-American Main Draw Announced

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas junior Blake Strode will take on Dimitar Kutrovsky, a sophomore from the University of Texas, Thursday in the first round of the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships’ main draw. Ranked No. 20 in the preseason ITA poll, Strode is making his first appearance of the season at the event being held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.

Strode advanced to the third round of last year’s event. Kutrovsky is No. 23 in the preseason ITA rankings.

The team of Strode and Colin Mascall, No. 12 in the preseason rankings, face the Harvard duo of Sasha Ermakov and Ashwin Kumar in the first round of the doubles competition Thursday. The two Razorbacks finished last season with a 19-10 record and a trip to the NCAA Doubles Championships.
