Jackson Earns CSM Player of the Week

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas forward Jessica Jackson was selected as the CollegeSportsMadness.com Player of the Week for her performances over No. 13 Tennessee and No. 24 Missouri last week.

College Sports Madness identifies the players who have had the greatest impact to their team from each conference and on a national basis each Monday.

Jackson, a junior forward from Jacksonville, Arkansas, paced the Razorbacks with 40 points and 11 rebounds in the two contests. In the win over Tennessee, Jackson scored 25 points and hit three, three-pointers. She was 8-for-10 from the line.

She added 15 points in the win over Missouri, her 15th double-figure point game of the year. She was 6-of-8 from the line, had six rebounds and one block for the Razorbacks.

Jackson leads the team with 17.4 points per game and is second with 6.9 rebounds per game. She is averaging 1.1 assist per game and 1.2 blocks per game this year.

The Razorbacks continue SEC action this week traveling to LSU Thursday and Auburn, Sunday.
