CAMERAS Point-and-shoot cameras are permissible. No video cameras, professional camera equipment or long telephoto lenses allowed.
COMPETITION DAY INFORMATION A Guest Services tent to address questions or concerns is located in the North Endzone, under the scoreboard. The Fayetteville Visitors Bureau will also have information available regarding local and tourist information.
CONCESSIONS The main concession stands are located on the East Concourse of John McDonnell Field. Additional concession and drink stands are located throughout the stadium. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORTS The commercial airport serving the University of Arkansas is Northwest Arkansas Regiona (XNA), which is located in neighboring Benton County. It is approximately 35-45 minutes from the campus, depending on traffic. Please note that many charter flights may employ Fayetteville Executive Airport (FYV), but there is NO commercial traffic.
Directions to John McDonnell Field from Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) Follow the airport road south to its termination at Arkansas Route 264. Turn left on 264 and wind along the road approximately five miles to the town of Cave Springs. Route 264 dead ends into Arkansas 112. At this stop sign, turn right and head south about 1000 meters. Just past Lake Keith (on the left) and a church, turn left to continue on Route 264 (Lowell, Ark.) to the east. After another five miles, 264 intersects Interstate 540. Turn south (right) on I-540 and proceed 15 miles to Fayetteville. At the first major interchange in Fayetteville, do not take the Fayetteville business district fork. Proceed down I-540 (Fort Smith) to bypass Fayetteville to Exit 62 – Sixth Street (also known as Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.). After exiting, turn left at the traffic light heading east on Sixth Street (MLK) to campus. Turn left (north) on Razorback Rd traveling past Bud Walton Arena. John McDonnell Track and Field will be on your right.
Directions to John McDonnell Field from Fayetteville’s Executive Airport, Drake Field (FYV) On leaving the driveway from Drake Field, turn right on US Highway 71 (north). Drive one mile to the interchange between old 71 and 71B. This is the first traffic light north of the airport. Turn left and the road will merge into I-540. The first exit is Cave Springs Road/Razorback Road. Take the exit, then turn right on Cave Springs/Ra¬zorback. Drive north one mile, traveling through a four-way stop at Baum Stadium and the Randal Tyson Track Center then through a traffic light (intersection with Sixth Street/Martin Luther King Blvd). After the traffic light, the campus begins and athletic venues are located along Razorback. Travel past Bud Walton Arena, John McDonnell Track and Field will be on your right.
DISABILITY SEATING Wheelchair and companion seating are available on both the East and West sides of John McDonnell Field off of the ramps in all four corners of the seating areas.
ENTRANCES The public entrance to John McDonnell Field is located in the Northwest corner of the stadium (corner of Razorback Rd and Meadow St). The media entrance is located on the East side of the stadium. The entrance for teams and participants is located on the Southwest corner of the stadium.
EVACUATION In case of evacuation, instructions will be relayed via the public address system. Gate personnel and ushers will assist you in exiting the facility.
FIRST AID The fan First Aid tent is located in the North Endzone, under the scoreboard.
GATES OPEN Gates will open each day one hour prior to the start of competition.
INCLEMENT WEATHER In the event of inclement weather, guests will be advised to seek shelter immediately. Updated information regarding the schedule of events will be available on the NCAA’s website at www.ncaa.com.
LOST CHILDREN Parents/Guardians with a lost child should contact the nearest police officer or event staff member. If a child gets separated, he/she should notify the nearest police officer or event staff member.
LOST AND FOUND Lost items recovered during the championships will be delivered to the John McDonnell Field Press Box on the east side of the stadium. Please contact an usher or event staff member who can assist.
MERCHANDISE AND CHAMPIONSHIPS PROGRAMS Merchandise stands are located in the Northwest corner of John McDonnell Field (west of the scoreboard). Official championships programs are on sale at the merchandise stands and include a heat sheet.
PARKING Free public parking for the NCAA Championships is available in Lots 72, 73, 73A, 44 & 56. Handicap parking is available in Lot #67. Bus Parking is available at Baum Baseball Stadium.
PROHIBITED ITEMS Please find the John McDonnell Field policies outlined below. Except for items pertaining to medical conditions or child care, all bags, backpacks, video cameras, large cases for binoculars or other items, and large purses are prohibited and banned. All carried items and entrants are subject to search. Prohibited items must be returned to the owner’s car or discarded. Any unlawful items are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of such items is subject to arrest. The following items are
NOT permitted in Razorback Athletic Facilities: • Alcoholic beverages • Baby seats • Baby strollers • Backpacks (or any large bags) • Banners, sign • Beach Balls • Cameras (professional equipment or cameras with long telephoto lenses) • Coolers or containers • Explosives • Folding chairs or stools • Food and beverages • Ice chest • Laser pointers • Pets (with exception of service animals used by disabled guests) • Personal heaters • Stadium seats with armrests and/or over 16 inches wide • Umbrellas • Video cameras •
Noisemakers of any type (i.e. bells, horns, whistles, etc.)
RE-ENTRY POLICY Re-entry will be permitted with a ticket stub. This policy will be strictly enforced. (NOTE: This is different from the standard SEC No Re-Entry policy for Razorback home venues.)

TICKET INFORMATION The University of Arkansas is proud to host the NCAA Men’s & Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the first time in 2009. Seating for the championships is limited so be sure to order your tickets early. Tickets may be purchased as a four-day package or for a single day. Tickets are available through the Razorback ticket office by calling 1-800-982-HOGS or by visiting ArkansasRazorbacks.com. Single-day tickets will be available for sale beginning Wednesday, June 10 at John McDonnell Field. Reserved Area Admission Package (4 Days) $40 General Admission Package (4 Days) $30 Single Day – Reserved Section $15 Single Day – General Admission $10
TOBACCO FREE CAMPUS Effective July 1, 2008, the University of Arkansas campus was tobacco free. This means no cigarettes, pipes, cigars, dip or chew anywhere on campus and includes no stadium exiting for tobacco use outside the stadium.
